As part of INFORMATYKA, WiC of IEEE Computer Society Kerala Chapter organized an AR Game Development Workshop in collaboration with Women in Computing of IEEE Computer Society Chapters of GCEK, SCT, and SSET to provide participants with knowledge of the tools and techniques needed for game design and development.
Under the banners of IEEE SSET, this intensive five-day AR Game development workshop was relabeled as GAMEVERSE which explored the day-to-day craft of game design through hands-on activities, group discussion, analysis, and critique.
This paid event, open to anyone and everyone, took place from September 20th to September 24th, 2021, with a total of 130 participants. Despite the fact that the event was paid, after the fulfillment of the mini project and 100% participation, the money was reimbursed in full.
The whole event was run in townscript. The organizers' main goals for the event were to provide costly high-quality platforms for new game developers at rates that are feasible, and they were successful
